This week, we hosted our Summer time Drone Academy, and what a journey it’s been! From unboxing drone kits and constructing them, to seeing them take flight, highschool college students from throughout the area dove headfirst into every week of immersive STEM studying that was stuffed with challenges, creativity, and collaboration.
From Soldering Irons to Takeoff Zones
The week kicked off with a hands-on soldering workshop, the place college students realized tips on how to assemble their very own drones from the bottom up. Drone Academy By the Years
Since launching our first pilot in 2019 on the Dearborn STEM Academy, the MassRobotics Drone Academy has continued to develop. With annually, the curriculum has developed alongside the {hardware}, leading to a user-friendly package that empowers college students to take possession of the complete drone-building course of.
