On Monday, July twenty fourth, 2023, MassRobotics welcomed MA Secretary of Training, Dr. Patrick Tutwiler, and members of his crew for a tour of our house and to verify in on our STEM program.
Secretary Tutwiler discovered about MassRobotics targets and affect and after a short presentation toured the power.
Through the tour he discovered about one among our resident startups, Tatum Robotics. He met with their Founder & CEO Samantha Johnson and was capable of see their prototype robotic hand which indicators in American Signal Language (ASL) and helps the DeafBlind Neighborhood talk.
The Secretary’s tour then continued on the MassRobotics’ STEM lab which is run by our STEM Program Supervisor Kevin Smith. The Secretary was capable of work together with a number of the college students that had been collaborating within the BlueTech Robotics Academy, sponsored by our beneficiant accomplice MITRE.
He even bumped into an academy pupil from Lynn who remembered him from his time working because the Lynn Public Faculties superintendent. He was additionally capable of work together with a few of our robots.
