OTTAWA – The Liberal Occasion introduced final weekend that household doctor Dr. Danielle Martin (pictured) will likely be their candidate for the upcoming federal byelection in College-Rosedale, the downtown Toronto driving Chrystia Freeland held till she stepped down earlier final month.

Dr. Martin is the chair of the division of household and neighborhood medication on the College of Toronto. In 2014, she defended Canada’s well being care system earlier than a partisan U.S. Senate committee – an act that acquired widespread consideration on the time.
