The Federal Authority for Authorities Human Sources (FAHR) has confirmed the official working hours for ministries and federal authorities entities throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan.

In line with the announcement, federal workers will work from 9am to 2.30pm, Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, working hours will run from 9am to midnight, apart from roles that require completely different schedules because of the nature of the job.

In an announcement printed on its official web site, FAHR stated versatile working preparations could proceed throughout Ramadan, offered workers full the permitted each day working hours.

The authority additionally famous that federal entities could permit distant work on Fridays, with the variety of workers working remotely capped at 70 per cent of the entire workforce, in step with permitted laws.

The revised timings are a part of the federal government’s annual changes throughout Ramadan, aimed toward supporting workers whereas sustaining operational effectivity throughout federal establishments.
