Quebec-based telecom firm Cogeco has laid off a number of staff in Ontario, however denied that it will outsource the work.

MobileSyrup obtained an nameless tip about Cogeco’s latest layoffs, which accused the corporate of firing a “sizable portion of its frontline workers” as a part of an outsourcing effort. The tip pegged the full variety of layoffs at over 100.
