An indie studio referred to as Kelonia Video games has introduced a brand new sport named Fresco. It’s an action-adventure title set in historic Egypt, and it has a easy concept at its core: the photographs carved on temple partitions can come to life, and you may management them.

The sport works with two completely different views that you just swap between. One is a traditional 3D world the place you play as an archaeologist strolling round temples and exploring. The opposite is a flat 2D world contained in the wall work. What you do in a single world impacts the opposite.

For instance, transferring a personality on the wall would possibly open a door or transfer an object for the archaeologist within the 3D house.

The studio explains it this manner: “In Fresco, historic partitions come alive. The carvings etched into the temple partitions aren’t simply decorations. They arrive to life, and the participant can management them.”

Customers will clear up puzzles by issues from each angles, transferring objects between the flat partitions and the total 3D rooms, and determining how the 2 worlds join. The sport focuses on exploring outdated Egyptian temples and chambers intimately.

Improvement continues to be ongoing and the sport is altering primarily based on participant suggestions. There isn’t a launch date but. It’s listed as “To Be Introduced” on Steam.

The sport will come out first on Home windows PC by way of Steam. To maintain up with updates, customers can add Fresco to their Steam checklist right here.
