Bharat Forge’s aerospace division has gained contracts value roughly Rs 300 crore to provide indigenous drones to the Indian Military and Navy, the corporate introduced on Friday, January 16.

The contracts cowl a spread of unmanned programs together with Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platforms and loitering munitions.

The drone platforms–Omega One, Omega 9, Bayonet, and Cleaver, are designed to satisfy pressing operational necessities throughout various terrains and mission profiles.

In response to the corporate, its unmanned automobile portfolio is quickly evolving with superior autonomy, synthetic intelligence (AI), and data-driven decision-making capabilities. These enhancements enhance mission endurance, precision, survivability, and flexibility in contested operational environments.
