Bihar-based Agrifeeder, a startup co-founded by actress Neetu Chandra, on Thursday stated it is going to faucet alternatives within the export markets, and goals to clock a 75% enhance in income to Rs 3.5 crore this fiscal.

The corporate, which was based in 2017, sells numerous meals gadgets constructed from agricultural produce procured from farmers in Bihar. The merchandise, which embody chana sattu, makhana, lemongrass natural tea and maize, are bought beneath the model ‘Agrifeeder by Neetu Chandra’ by way of each bodily and on-line retail channels.

“We’ve got secured USFDA certification, which is able to assist the corporate to enter export markets,” Chandra informed reporters right here. She invested an undisclosed quantity on this startup final 12 months and joined Priya Pandey, Raunak Kumar and Raman Kumar as co-founders.

She added that the turnover is predicted to leap considerably from the following fiscal 12 months onwards.

Agrifeeder stated it’s working with a community of over 50,000 farmers throughout Bihar.

Pandey stated that the corporate began promoting merchandise from 2020 onwards. At current, maize contributes the utmost to the corporate’s turnover. The corporate is trying to elevate funds from traders to spice up manufacturing capacities.
