Egypt is able to transfer ahead with plans to assemble a long-discussed bridge connecting its Sinai Peninsula to Saudi Arabia, in response to Minister of Transport Kamel El-Wazir.

Chatting with Reuters on the sidelines of an financial convention organised by the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, El-Wazir confirmed that planning for the mission, which can be a bridge or a tunnel, has been accomplished, and that Egypt is ready to implement it “at any time.”

The proposed hyperlink would join town of Sharm El-Sheikh with Ras Alsheikh Hamid in Saudi Arabia, crossing over or beneath the Pink Sea by way of Tiran Island. As soon as accomplished, it could function a significant hall between Africa and Asia, designed to facilitate each commerce and tourism.
