HoloSolis, the French producer of low carbon PV cells and modules, has secured over €220 million in private and non-private funding to construct considered one of Europe’s largest photo voltaic gigafactories in Sarreguemines-Hambach.

Backed by Calés Technologie and Forming, and long-standing traders together with InnoEnergy, TSE, Groupe IDEC, Armor Group, and Heraeus.

Bertrand Lecacheux, CEO of HoloSolis says: “HoloSolis already had robust companions: InnoEnergy, Armor Group, IDEC, TSE, and Heraeus. I’m very proud that new companions are becoming a member of us! We will profit from their experience to construct the biggest TOPCon cell and module gigafactory in Europe. A number of photovoltaic builders have chosen to put money into the challenge and we’ve a complete of greater than 20 GW of buyer letters of intent, which demonstrates the energy of our enterprise mannequin.”

In 2025, a number of European startups lively in photo voltaic and adjoining energy-transition fields secured new funding, providing context for HoloSolis’ newest increase.

–      15 Could 2024: signing of the land acquisition contract for the location in Hambach

–      17 Could 2024: signature with RTE for a high-voltage connection in 2027

–      24 January 2025: constructing allow and environmental authorization obtained

–      3 September 2025: technological partnership signed with world PV chief Trina Photo voltaic

–      17 November 2025: HoloSolis broadcasts new traders
