AICertified have stated that almost all of world employers now regard synthetic intelligence as important to their technique, but ability funding lags behind adoption.
AICertified, an Irish edtech firm, has introduced that, in its aim to “create the worldwide certification commonplace for AI abilities”, the organisation has secured €1m in funding. The spherical was led by Oyster Capital, with help from Enterprise Eire.
In 2025, the Dublin-based edtech was established by entrepreneur Ian Dodson, who can be the co-founder of Digital Advertising Institute, which was itself acquired by Spectrum Fairness in 2017 and later by BPP Schooling Group in 2023.
Dodson stated, “That is about greater than a course or a certificates – it’s about making a measurable and trusted framework for competence in AI. The AI coaching market at the moment is fragmented and basically unreliable. Nobody has but outlined what it’s to be AI licensed, nor the development path to get there.”
He added, AICertified goals to set a “single dependable commonplace, present an outcome-driven path and certify abilities in a method employers and college students can belief.”
The funding is meant to speed up product growth, develop AICertified’s workforce from eight to fifteen and scale the corporate’s studying platform forward of its first course which is ready to launch in February of this 12 months.
