The Karnataka authorities has unveiled a brand new coverage to help the deeptech startups because it goals to strengthen the expertise management of the state, not simply within the nation but additionally throughout the globe.

The Elevate Subsequent (Deeptech) programme of the Karnataka authorities, which was introduced on the ongoing Bengaluru Tech Summit 2025 which is able to present grants starting from Rs 50 lakh to Rs one crore to 40 such startups.

Karnataka IT & BT Minister Priyank Kharge additionally introduced one other initiative, which goals to deepen the startup ecosystem within the State by extending it past the capital metropolis of Bengaluru. That is the Elevate Past Bengaluru, which is designed to speed up entrepreneurial progress in Tier II and III cities.

Kharge mentioned, “These flagship programmes will decentralise alternatives, foster vibrant innovation hubs throughout the state, and be sure that Karnataka’s startup story stays inclusive, future-ready, and globally aggressive.”

The minister additionally mentioned the federal government is focusing closely on the deeptech phase with the aim that over the following ten years, these deeptech startups will be capable of resolve among the real-life challenges.

At BTS 2025, the Bengaluru Innovation Report 2025 was launched, which highlighted the strides made by the State within the segments of expertise and startups. At the moment, Bengaluru leads when it comes to AI funding share and hiring intent.
