The partnership will allow Jabil so as to add Hanley Vitality’s experience to its personal energy administration options for information centres.

Jabil, a Florida-headquartered engineering, provide chain and manufacturing options supplier, has introduced plans to accumulate Meath-based crucial energy and power administration options platform Hanley Vitality Group, in a deal valued at roughly $725m.

In an announcement, Jabil acknowledged it had signed a particular settlement to accumulate Hanley Vitality, to be able to add Hanley’s “intensive experience in energy methods and power optimisation to Jabil’s present energy administration options for information centres, together with low- and medium-voltage change gear, PDUs and UPS methods”.

The deal is valued at $725m, “plus contingent consideration as much as $58m, topic to reaching future income thresholds, in an all-cash transaction”, and is predicted to be finalised within the first quarter of 2026 pending customary situations and regulatory approvals. 

In 2024, Hanley Vitality introduced plans to rent in each the US and Eire, amid the opening of a brand new $12m workplace in ‘Information Centre Alley’ in Virginia. The transfer was a part of technique to increase the corporate’s international operations.

Commenting on the announcement, Ed Bailey, the CTO and senior vice-president of clever infrastructure at Jabil, stated: “Hanley Vitality Group has established itself as a worldwide innovator in crucial energy and power administration, with distinctive engineering expertise throughout Eire and North America.

“Its experience in designing, constructing and commissioning turnkey mission-critical energy options from the grid all the way in which to the hyperscale information centre enhances Jabil’s rising capabilities in AI information centre infrastructure.

“With Hanley’s deep technical know-how and complete life cycle companies, together with design, consulting, deployment, commissioning, and area help companies, we will probably be even higher positioned to ship safe, dependable and energy-efficient energy options to our international clients.”

Matt Crowley, Jabil’s government vice-president for international enterprise items and clever infrastructure added: “This acquisition suits completely with Jabil’s technique to develop within the information centre area, the place we’re centered on creating capabilities to ship customized options for hyperscale, co-location and digital native clients. 

“It now provides us the uniquely differentiated functionality to not solely design and manufacture these options, but in addition to deploy and repair them within the information centre.”
