The fifth spherical of the second version of the Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship (no-gi) kicked off right now (Saturday) at Al Nasr Membership in Dubai, attracting large participation from athletes representing golf equipment and academies throughout the UAE. On the finish of the opening day, Sharjah Self-Defence Sports activities Membership topped the standings, adopted by Al Ain Jiu-Jitsu Membership in second place and ADMA in third.

The primary day featured robust competitors within the under-12, under-14, and under-16 classes. Athletes demonstrated excessive technical ranges, fast reactions, and exact execution to amass factors underneath the championship’s classification system, designed to make sure equity and reinforce competitiveness amongst gamers and golf equipment.

The day’s competitions have been attended by H.E. Yousef Abdullah Al Batran, Board Member of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation; H.E. Mishal Abdulkarim Julfar, CEO of the Dubai Company for Ambulance Providers; Fawzia Faridoon, Performing Director of Sports activities Occasions Division at Dubai Sports activities Council; Amina Ahmed, Department Supervisor of Abu Dhabi Islamic Financial institution in Muhaisnah; Fahad Al Marzouqi, Department Supervisor of Abu Dhabi Islamic Financial institution in Deira; Dr. Younis Kazim, CEO of Dubai Healthcare Company, Dubai Well being Authority; Mansoor Al Malik, Government Director for Insurance policies and Laws Division at Dubai Customized; Dr. Shamsa bin Hammad, Director of Dubai Company for Ambulance Providers; and Waleed Al Sheibani, Director of Dubai Municipality Membership.

H.E. Yousef Abdullah Al Batran, Board Member of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, burdened that the championship is a crucial platform for locating and nurturing expertise throughout totally different age teams.

 “The Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Jiu-Jitsu Championship gives athletes with a really perfect alternative to develop their expertise in knowledgeable and aggressive surroundings, whereas instilling values of self-discipline, confidence, and dedication. Javid Mohammadzadeh, father of Javad Mohammadzadeh, a Sharjah Self-Defence Sports activities Membership athlete competing within the under-16 60 kg class, mentioned, “Javad has been practising jiu-jitsu for a few years.
