Tech funding large SoftBank Group stated Wednesday it should purchase Swiss-Swedish agency ABB Robotics for almost $5.4 billion as a part of its plans to carry synthetic intelligence into the bodily realm.

The transaction is predicted to shut in mid- to late-2026 pending regulatory approval.
