4th September 2025, Mumbai – In a momentous occasion at Semicon India 2025 in New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Minister of Electronics and Data Expertise, Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, unveiled ‘Made in India’ semiconductor chips. This historic launch of first 25 Made In India Semiconductor Chips additionally included indigenously designed Programmable Acquire Amplifier (PGA) IC chip developed by Vivekanand Schooling Society’s Institute of Expertise (VESIT), an Autonomous Institute Affiliated to College of Mumbai, highlighting how the Indian Authorities’s Chips to Startup (C2S) Programme is empowering educational establishments to drive indigenous semiconductor innovation.
